Terms of Service
The terms for using this website, for taking part in an interview and for buying Narratia studies and credits.
Narratia: this website and taking part in an interview
- Narratia is a Selfware product. Selfware products are provided by Jara Service Group LLC (Delaware, USA), as set out in section 1.
- This website describes Narratia and how a study with it works. The videos, transcripts and examples on it are demonstrations with test personas, not results of a real study. The guides are general information about interviewing with an AI interviewer.
- If you take part in an interview, you are talking to an artificial intelligence, not a person. Its questions and summaries are generated automatically and can contain mistakes; tell the interviewer if it got something wrong. Taking part is up to you: you can pause, skip a question or withdraw at any time, and if you withdraw, your answers are deleted. Before the interview starts, you see the notice for that study and accept it; how your answers are handled is described there and in our Privacy Policy.
- If you order studies or interview credits, the Terms below apply, including Schedule B — Narratia (credits, participants and results).
1. Who we are
Prima, Narratia and Sitekeeper are Selfware products. They are provided by Jara Service Group LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, c/o Republic Registered Agent LLC, 262 Chapman Rd, Suite 240, Newark, DE 19702, USA ("we", "us"). Support and any notice under these Terms: support@selfwarehq.com.
2. What these Terms cover
2.1 These Terms apply when you buy or use Prima (website studio), Narratia (AI interviewer) or Sitekeeper (website assistant). Each product has its own schedule: Schedule A — Prima, Schedule B — Narratia, Schedule C — Sitekeeper. The Annex contains notices required by consumer law in some countries.
2.2 If documents conflict, this order applies: (1) mandatory law; (2) what you accepted on the order or checkout page for a specific purchase (product, scope, price); for Prima, the scope and price shown on the Prima page when you start the brief and repeated in our review message; (3) the product schedule; (4) these general Terms. Where we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) also applies and prevails on data-protection matters.
2.3 How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Who can buy
3.1 We offer our products in the United States and in Latin America. We do not offer them in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and we do not sell to persons or entities in countries or regions subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, or to persons on U.S. sanctions lists.
3.2 Business customers. You buy as a business customer if you buy for your trade, business, craft or profession (including as a sole professional). A business customer may give its tax identification number (for example RUT, RFC, NIT, CUIT or EIN) at checkout to have it on the invoice.
3.3 Consumers. You buy as a consumer if you buy as an individual mainly for personal, family or household purposes, or if the consumer law of your country treats you as a consumer. We sell to both consumers and business customers. Where local law protects a small business customer as a consumer, the Annex applies to it.
3.4 You must be at least 18 years old. If you buy for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf; "you" then means that business.
4. How a contract is made
4.1 Before you pay, the order or checkout page shows the product, what is included, the price in U.S. dollars (US$), any recurring charge and how to cancel it. You accept these Terms by ticking the box at checkout and completing payment. The contract is made when the payment is confirmed. For Prima, the free brief, the preview and the video review are not a purchase: the contract is made when you pay after the review (Schedule A, A2).
4.2 After payment we send you a confirmation e-mail with what you bought, the price, a copy of these Terms (version you accepted) and how to contact us.
4.3 Free steps (for example the Prima brief interview, the Prima preview and video review, or the Sitekeeper free plan) do not oblige you to buy anything.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
5.1 Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes. Depending on where you are, you may owe local taxes on your purchase (for example VAT/IVA, a digital-services tax or a withholding) under your local rules, including taxes collected by your bank or card issuer.
5.2 We may start adding taxes to our prices where the law requires us to collect them. Any tax we add is shown before you pay and does not apply to orders already paid. If your law requires you to withhold tax from a payment to us, tell us before paying.
5.3 Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
5.4 If you think a charge is wrong, write to support@selfwarehq.com first; we will answer and, if we made a mistake, correct it. This does not limit any right you have with your bank or card issuer.
6. Your account and acceptable use
6.1 Keep your sign-in links, Telegram account and any access you give us secure. Tell us at once if you believe someone else is using your account.
6.2 You must not use our products to: break the law; infringe anyone's rights; send spam or unsolicited messages; collect data about people without a lawful basis; publish content that is deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence; upload malware; or try to bypass our security or usage limits.
6.3 We may suspend a feature or an account to stop a serious breach of section 6.2 or to protect people, our systems or other customers. We will tell you why and, where possible, give you a chance to fix the problem first.
7. AI features
7.1 Our products use artificial-intelligence models (listed in our Privacy Policy). AI output — interview questions, summaries, analyses, texts, designs, code or suggested edits — is generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Review it before you rely on it, publish it or make decisions based on it.
7.2 We do not train our own AI models on your content, your participants' answers or your site data. To run our products we send the content needed for each task to our AI provider, OpenAI, through a ChatGPT subscription. Under the terms of that subscription, OpenAI may use the content it receives to improve its models unless that use is turned off in the account settings. Do not include in your briefs, studies or site requests information you do not want processed this way.
7.3 People who take part in an interview are always told that they are talking to an AI.
8. Content and intellectual property
8.1 Your content. You keep all rights in the content you give us (texts, photos, logos, brief answers, study materials, site content). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, adapt and display it only as needed to provide the product to you and as you instruct. You confirm that you have the rights needed for us to do this.
8.2 Our products. We keep all rights in our software, tools, templates, interview methods, prompts, components and know-how. Rights in deliverables made specifically for you under Prima are set out in Schedule A.
8.3 Feedback. If you suggest improvements, we may use them freely.
9. Confidentiality
Each party keeps confidential the non-public business information it receives from the other and uses it only to perform the contract. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed or that must be disclosed by law.
10. Personal data
10.1 We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10.2 Where we process personal data on your behalf — respondents in your Narratia studies, guests who book through your site, personal data in the content of your site — you are the controller (responsible party) and we are your processor (data processor / encargado). Our DPA applies automatically to these Terms; you can also ask us for a signed copy.
10.3 You are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving the required notices to the people whose data you ask us to process.
11. Our commitments
11.1 We provide each product with reasonable skill and care and as described on its product page and schedule.
11.2 We do not promise business results, search rankings, sales, a specific number of interview participants or that a product will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11.3 Nothing in these Terms limits warranties or remedies that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.
12. Cancellations and refunds
12.1 Each schedule explains when a payment is final and what happens if we do not deliver.
12.2 Mandatory rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right of withdrawal, revocation, retraction, cancellation or refund that the consumer law applicable to you gives you and that cannot be waived. The Annex explains these rights for some countries. Accepting these Terms or asking us to start work does not waive them.
13. Liability
13.1 To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data that is not a direct result of a breach.
13.2 To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a product is limited to: (a) for Prima and Narratia, the price you paid for the order concerned; (b) for Sitekeeper, the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you used only the free plan.
13.3 Sections 13.1–13.2 do not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13.4 Consumers: sections 13.1–13.2 do not apply to the extent the consumer law that applies to you does not allow them.
14. Suspension and termination
14.1 You may stop using a product at any time; how to cancel a subscription is in Schedule C.
14.2 We may end a contract by notice if you seriously breach these Terms and do not fix the breach within 14 days of our notice, or at once in the cases described in section 6.3.
14.3 If we stop offering a product, we give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid amount for the period or credits you cannot use, unless you choose to keep your credits for another of our products.
14.4 Sections that by their nature should survive (for example 8, 9, 10, 13, 16) survive termination.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version and date are shown at the top. A change applies to an order already paid only if it is in your favour or required by law. For subscriptions we tell you at least 30 days in advance by e-mail or in the app; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
16.1 Please write to support@selfwarehq.com first; we will try to resolve any problem within 30 days.
16.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction over disputes with business customers.
16.3 If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts that your law allows; any choice of law or court in these Terms does not deprive you of that protection.
17. Other terms
17.1 These Terms, the order you accepted, the schedules, the Annex and (where it applies) the DPA are the entire agreement for that purchase.
17.2 Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control (for example outages of Telegram, Stripe, AI or hosting providers, or of your own hosting or website platform), as long as it informs the other party and resumes as soon as possible.
17.3 You may not transfer your contract without our consent. We may transfer it to a company that takes over the product, if your rights are not reduced.
17.4 We communicate with you by e-mail and, for Sitekeeper, also in the app or the Telegram bot.
17.5 These Terms are available in English and Spanish. If you bought through a Spanish-language page, the Spanish version applies.
17.6 If a provision is invalid, the rest remains in force.
Schedule A — Prima (website studio)
A1. What we offer. Prima designs a brand and a website for your business. You can buy the turnkey package (brand, design system, website and launch) or separate stages (Brand; Design system; Website and launch), at the prices shown on the Prima page (see A2).
A2. How a project starts and when you pay. You start with a free brief: a short interview with an AI interviewer (powered by Narratia) that prepares a summary of your business. The brief does not oblige you to buy. The package or stage, what it includes and its price in US$ are shown on the Prima page before you start the brief, and we repeat them in our review message. From your confirmed brief we prepare your site at our own cost and risk and show it to you in a preview and a video review (A4). You pay only after the review, and only if you want the site. If you decide not to buy, you owe nothing and we do not charge you. If you want the site, you tell us on the review page that you accept it and pay with the link we send you. Your notice on the review page is not yet a purchase: the contract for that package or stage is made when your payment is confirmed (section 4.1), and we then publish and hand over the site (A6). We do not publish or hand over the site before payment. The price stated before the brief starts is final: it does not go up for that order. Work beyond the package is done only at your own request, on a separate studio quote that you pay after handover (A4). There is only one way to pay: after the review, when the site is ready. We do not take payment before the brief or before the review. The interview and its data are covered by the notice shown before it and by our Privacy Policy.
A3. Timing. We work as quickly as the project allows. We do not promise a fixed calendar date unless it is agreed in writing for your order.
A4. Preview and revisions. Before you pay, we show you the result on an unlisted preview link and in a video review; we do not publish anything before payment. Within the scope shown to you, we make the revisions you ask for, with no fixed limit on the number of rounds, until you accept the site or decide not to buy. Work beyond the package (for example new pages, new functions or a new direction after the brand is accepted) is done only at your request, on a separate studio quote that you pay after handover.
A5. Acceptance. You accept the site when you pay for it: your payment confirms that you have seen the preview and the video review and accept the site as shown, with the revisions you approved. Silence is not acceptance. If you do not reply, your order stays open: we do not close it because you are silent, and we keep the preview and the video until you pay or decline. You can decline at any time by writing to support@selfwarehq.com; you then owe nothing, and we take the preview down and delete the video and your content (A7).
A6. Launch and handover. After your payment is confirmed we publish the site on your domain and hand it over. The site is delivered when we send you the link to the published site and the access you need to manage it. Handover is blocked until payment is confirmed. Where your order includes a domain, we register it and transfer it to you as soon as the registrar permits; the transfer does not change the delivery date. After launch you can keep the site hosted and edited through Sitekeeper under Schedule C, at the price shown when you choose it.
A7. Ownership of the work. When you have paid for a stage in full, we assign to you all rights we hold in the final deliverables made specifically for you in that stage (logo, brand book, design system files, website design and the code written for your site). We keep our pre-existing tools, templates, components and know-how, and give you a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use those included in your deliverables for your site and brand. Third-party elements (for example fonts, stock images or open-source code) remain subject to their own licenses, which we name in the handover. Concepts you did not choose remain ours. Until you pay, the site, its design and its code belong to us, and you may use the preview and the video only to evaluate the work. If you have not paid, we may reuse the design and structure for other clients. The logo and brand identity we create for you follow the same rule: they are ours until you pay and pass to you on payment; if you never pay, we may rework them for another client. We never reuse your own content: your texts, photos, any logo or brand material you gave us, your name and your data, and a reworked logo never carries over your name, wordmark text or data. That content stays tied to your order and is deleted when you decline or when you ask us to. Ownership passes to you when you have paid, as set out above. We may show the finished, published work in our portfolio unless you tell us not to.
A8. Payments and refunds.
- Before payment. If you decline after the review, you owe nothing.
- After payment and handover. Payment is final once we have handed over the site, except where mandatory law gives you a right to withdraw, revoke, cancel or obtain a refund (see section 12 and the Annex). You see the finished site and accept it before you pay, so a change of mind after handover is not a reason for a refund. If the site we hand over does not match what we showed you in the review (with the revisions you approved), we first fix it; if it cannot be fixed, we refund the price of the part concerned.
- Between payment and handover. If we do not complete the handover, we refund what you paid for the part not delivered. For the turnkey package, the refund for an undelivered stage is calculated using the stage prices shown on the Prima page.
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used.
A9. Your part. You give us accurate information and materials you have the right to use, answer our questions, and review the previews. You are responsible for the claims your site makes about your services (for example health, legal or financial claims) and for your own site's privacy notice and legal texts.
Schedule B — Narratia (AI interviewer)
B1. What we offer. Narratia runs interviews with your own participants through an AI interviewer and prepares an analysis. You set up a study in the Narratia client panel: brief, plan, participants, language and channel.
B2. Credits. Studies are paid with interview credits. One credit = one completed interview. A credit is not used if an interview does not take place or cannot be recovered. A study package (for example up to 20 interviews) and extra credits are sold at the prices shown in the client panel before payment.
B3. Payment is final; unused credits stay. Payment is final, except for rights that mandatory law gives you (section 12 and the Annex). Unused credits stay on your organization's balance, do not expire while your account is open, and are used first by your next study. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred outside your organization. If we stop offering Narratia, section 14.3 applies.
B4. Not included. Finding or recruiting participants, participant incentives, research panels, and human analysis are not included unless they are expressly offered and paid for separately.
B5. Your responsibilities as study owner. You invite only people you have a lawful basis to contact and who are at least 18; you describe the study truthfully in the brief (the participant notice is built from it); you do not ask participants for health data or other sensitive data, or about other people's private matters, unless we have agreed this in writing; you use answers and results only for the purpose stated to participants. You are the controller of participants' personal data; we are your processor under the DPA.
B6. Participants. Before an interview, each participant sees a notice for your study (who it is for, its purpose, that the interviewer is an AI, how long answers are kept and how to withdraw) and must accept it. A participant can pause, skip a question or withdraw at any time; if they withdraw, their answers are deleted and not included in your results.
B7. Results. Results show answers, quotes and an AI-generated analysis. Check important findings against the answers before you rely on them. Participants' answers are kept for the period stated in the participant notice and then deleted; download or copy what you need before then.
Schedule C — Sitekeeper (website assistant)
C1. What we offer. Sitekeeper lets you edit your website by writing or speaking to an assistant in Telegram and in the Sitekeeper app. It works with the platforms listed in the app; other platforms are not supported unless we confirm it for your site.
C2. Plans and price. The Free plan covers one site with a monthly allowance of actions shown in the app. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance by Stripe in U.S. dollars; their names, monthly price, number of sites and monthly allowance of actions are shown on the Sitekeeper page and in the app before you subscribe.
C3. What is included and what is paid separately. Included: changes to existing content — texts, photos, opening hours, prices, contact details and similar edits within existing pages. Paid separately (studio work): new pages, design changes, new functions and integrations. For studio work we first send you a description, the price and a payment link; work starts after payment, and Schedule A sections A4, A8 and A9 apply to it.
C4. Automatic renewal and cancellation. A Pro subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app or by writing to support@selfwarehq.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month, and you keep Pro until then. Fees already paid for the current month are not refunded, except where mandatory law or section 14.3 provides otherwise, or where the service was unavailable for most of that month because of us. We tell you at least 30 days in advance of any price change.
C5. Access to your site. To make changes, Sitekeeper needs access to your site (for example an API key, application password or repository access). Please create a separate access with only the permissions needed. We store access credentials encrypted, use them only to carry out your requests and keep your site connected, and do not give them to anyone else. You can revoke access at any time in your platform and disconnect the site in the app. When you disconnect a site or close your account, we delete its credentials.
C6. You confirm every change. Before a change is published, Sitekeeper shows you what will change ("before → after") and waits for your confirmation. You are responsible for the content you confirm. Changes made through Sitekeeper can usually be undone in the app, but Sitekeeper is not a backup service: keep your own backups. We are not responsible for changes made outside Sitekeeper, or for failures of your hosting, platform, plugins or domain.
C7. Bookings. If you turn on bookings for your site, guests' booking data is processed for you as your processor under the DPA, and you are responsible for your site's privacy notice to guests. Guest bookings are deleted 24 months after the appointment date.
C8. Telegram. The Sitekeeper assistant is available through Telegram; your use of Telegram is also subject to Telegram's own terms.
C9. Availability. We aim to keep Sitekeeper available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in the app where possible.
Annex — Mandatory consumer notices
These notices apply only if you buy as a consumer (or as a small business that the law of your country protects as a consumer) and that law applies to your purchase. They prevail over anything else in these Terms.
Argentina — right to revoke
RIGHT TO REVOKE. If Argentine consumer law applies to your distance contract, you have a non-waivable right to revoke your acceptance within ten (10) calendar days from the date the contract is concluded or, if later, from the date we hand over the site, without giving a reason and at no cost to you (Law 24.240, art. 34; Civil and Commercial Code, arts. 1110-1113). For Prima, the contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed, after the preview and the video review; the free brief, the preview and your notice on the review page do not conclude it. If the last day is a non-business day, the period extends to the next business day. To revoke, use the "Botón de arrepentimiento" link on our website or write to support@selfwarehq.com; you may also use any other method the law allows. We send you a confirmation code within 24 hours and refund what you paid by the same payment method. If we did not inform you of this right as the law requires, the right does not expire. Accepting these Terms, accepting the site, paying or asking us to start work does not waive this right.
Once you have actually used a service (for example, interviews already conducted with your credits), the right to revoke does not cover that use. For Prima, the right above runs from payment or, if later, from the handover of the site; if you revoke after handover, you stop using the site and give control of it back to us, and we refund what you paid. You can cancel a Sitekeeper subscription at any time with the "Botón de baja de servicio" link on our website, by the same means you used to subscribe (in the app) or by e-mail; we send you a confirmation code within 24 hours and charge nothing for cancelling.
Chile — derecho a retracto
This notice applies to consumers in Chile and also to micro and small businesses, which Chilean law (Law 20.416) protects as consumers.
Our services — Prima stages, Narratia studies and credits, the Sitekeeper subscription and studio work — are excluded from the right of withdrawal ("derecho a retracto") under article 3 bis, letter b), of Law 19.496, as we tell you prominently next to the price before you contract and pay. This exclusion does not limit your legal guarantee or your other rights under Law 19.496: if what we deliver does not match what was agreed, we fix it and, if it cannot be fixed, we refund the price of that part. After you contract, we send you a written confirmation with a full copy of these Terms. You can end a Sitekeeper subscription by the same means you used to contract it, and we never ask for more than we asked when you contracted.
Mexico
If the Federal Consumer Protection Law applies to your purchase: where it gives you five business days to revoke your consent, you can do so by writing to support@selfwarehq.com, without any liability; for a service whose performance is scheduled within ten business days of your order, this right does not apply. For a subscription with automatic recurring charges, we show you the amount, frequency and date of the charges, charge only with your express consent, notify you at least five calendar days before an automatic renewal and let you cancel immediately.
Colombia — derecho de retracto
If the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) applies to your purchase, you have a right of retraction ("derecho de retracto") for five business days from the conclusion of a service contract. It does not apply to services whose performance has begun with your agreement, or to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized. To exercise it, write to support@selfwarehq.com; we refund the amount paid within fifteen calendar days. You can end a Sitekeeper subscription at any time, with no penalty. Colombia's consumer-protection authority: Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio, https://www.sic.gov.co .
United States
U.S. federal law does not give a general right to cancel online purchases of services after the contract is made; the FTC "cooling-off" rule covers door-to-door sales. Some states give additional rights; they apply to you where they are mandatory. For the Sitekeeper subscription: before you pay we show all material terms, including the price, that it renews every month and how to cancel, and we charge you only after you expressly agree; you can cancel online at any time (Schedule C, section C4).
